The Menomonee Valley offers a very attractive location for businesses. Easy access to interstates and rail, nearby neighborhoods with available workers, and proximity to downtown are just a few benefits of the Valley's central location. Click here to see a database of currently available sites in the Menomonee Valley. Menomonee Valley Partners is strongly committed to ensuring that redevelopment in the Valley has positive economic, environmental and social impacts. MVP convened a work group of business and community representatives in 2002 to determine a family sustaining living wage for the Valley. The group came up with a Living Wage Plan with the goal of $12 per hour plus health benefits. For more information on the plan click here. In partnership with the Milwaukee Department of City Development and the Sixteenth Street Community Health Clinic, we are also developing Sustainable Development Guidelines for the Valley. The broad commitment to Valley redevelopment means that many agencies and organizations have staff available and incentives to help development projects.
